The walk is an easy 3.5km and will take about 45-60 minutes. Dependent on how quick a walker you are, and how long you stop to admire and experience the beautiful scenery & wildlife!

Please arrive at 10.45am for an 11:00am start. Meet at the end of the car park in front of the Old Shire Offices at 60 Beverley Rd, Heidelberg. Follow the road to the end by Banyule Football Club & Banyule Cricket Club. Look out for our Anna’s Walk banner!

To access the car park enter from Beverley Road. You may find a spot in the car park, but if not try the surrounding streets. Please allow time to find a parking spot.

The walk is an easy flat walk beside the river along established footpaths.

Please bring your own water bottles for the walk.

Hot and cold drinks are available for purchase from the kiosk located at the start/end of the walk.

Treats will be provided at the end of the walk, so please stay and mingle.

Yes, there are public toilets located very close to the meeting point by the car park at the start and end of the walk.

The walk is a loop route so you will finish at the start point near the carpark.

Yes definitely. You can bring your dog on the walk if it is kept on a lead.

The walk will go ahead in all weather conditions. However, if the weather is looking bad please check the BEAT Bladder Cancer Facebook page for any updates.
