The walk is 4.5km and will take about 60 minutes. Dependent on how quick a walker you are, and how long you stop to admire and experience the beautiful river views and city sights!

Please arrive at 9.45am for a 10:00am start. We will meet on the grass or BBQ area near the Riverside Green Playground. Look for our Anna’s Walk banner!

It is located very close to the South Bank Ferry Terminal and very easy to access from the train and buses. There is also access to parking on the street, however, this can be quite busy. There is secure paid parking located on Little Stanley Street if the street parking is busy.

Just bring a water bottle, hat and sunscreen. Oh of course most importantly a big smile 😊.

The walk is an easy flat walk along the river and the entire track is a sealed path. Most of the route will be along the Brisbane River, so there will be lovely views along the walk.

Please bring your own water bottles for the walk. However there will be drinks and some yummy treats at the end of the walk. So please stay and mingle.

Yes, there are public toilets very close to the meeting point at the start of the walk, and at various points along the loop walk.

The walk is a loop route so you will start & finish at the start at the same point.

Yes definitely. You can bring your dog on the walk if it is kept on a lead.

The walk will go ahead in all weather conditions. However, if the weather is looking bad please check the BEAT Bladder Cancer Facebook page for any updates.
